JC Chinese School is located in the capital city of Missouri, Jefferson City.
JC Chinese School is a non-profit organization, locally owned and operated by private sponsorship and student tuition, with no connection to any government agencies.
Our goal is to provide a Chinese learning environment to people in the Jefferson City area. JC Chinese School welcomes students of all ages who are interested in learning Chinese language as the world we live in is becoming more and more flat and the world economy is becoming more and more globalized. As many American companies are doing business in China now, they are looking for people with knowledge of both cultures. So, prepare yourself now for the new world we live in, a globalization of peoples, cultures and economy.
Join the over 30 million people worldwide outside of China who are now learning Chinese as a foreign language. It is a different language and a different culture, therefore, it may be challenging. Meanwhile, it should also be interesting to know the culture of one fifth of the people living on this planet.
In the summer of 2008 China will, for the first time, host the XXIX Olympiad in Beijing, China. Thousands of volunteers are now studying English and other languages. Wouldn't it be nice if you can understand what you hear or read, instead of waiting for interpreters to translate?
